放課後ほうかご、図書館としょかんへ行いきました。
After school, I went to the library.

静しずかな館内かんないに、紙かみの匂においが漂ただよっています。
In the quiet library, the smell of paper drifted in the air.

お母かあさんが、すぐ近ちかくで子こどもに絵本えほんを読よんでいました。
A mother was reading a picture book to her child right nearby.

私は、おすすめコーナーの本ほんを手てに取とりました。
I picked up a book from the recommended section.

近ちかくの席せきに座すわって、本ほんを開ひらきました。
I sat nearby and opened the book.

気きがつくと、窓まどの外そとの光ひかりがオレンジ色いろに変かわっていました。
Before I knew it, the light outside the window had turned orange.

そろそろ、閉館へいかんの時間じかんです。
It was almost closing time.

本ほんを抱かかえて、カウンターに向むかいました。
Holding the book in my hands, I walked to the counter.

「貸出かしだし、お願ねがいします。」
